Seen today, out of pain today
Severe toothache, a knocked-out tooth or facial swelling should never wait. Call us as early in the day as you can and we will fit you in, usually within hours.
What counts as a dental emergency?
- Toothache that keeps you awake or does not settle with painkillers
- A tooth that has been knocked out, loosened or broken
- Swelling in the gum, face or jaw
- Bleeding that will not stop after an extraction or injury
- A lost crown, bridge or filling that is causing pain
Knocked-out adult tooth: act fast
Hold the tooth by the crown, not the root. If it is clean, gently place it back in the socket or keep it in milk, and reach us within the hour for the best chance of saving it.
If you have swelling that affects breathing or swallowing, go straight to your nearest hospital emergency department.
